ROBERTS-RIFLES
Italian Vetterli Vitali 1870/87 further modified in 1916 by adding a bore liner rifled in 6.5 mm and by replacing the Vitali magazine with one of Carcano type. The rifle was then redesignated as Model 1870/87/15.
